Bulletin Boards - Thread: Cupcakes being confescated because of plastic army men
idk if you've read the article about this or not,but that it was just plain stupid.
Teachers confescated a little boy's birthday cupcakes because they had green plastic army men on them.
my question is why?why confescate cupcakes because of army men on them?
were the army men alive and opening fire on everyone?no,duh.they're plastic, they're not gonna hurt anyone.
Well....the boy's dad was in the military,so the boy was just honoring his father by putting "his dad" on his birthday cupcakes.
The teachers thought the soldiers on his cupcakes would promote violence.what were the teachers thinking? were they thinking "OMG,he brought toy soldiers!!that means he's planning on setting off a bomb!"? seriusly?it would have been one thing if all the cupcakes had toy knives on em',but it's another for them to take away cupcakes that were HONORING his father.
Not the first dumb "VIOLENT STUFF IN SCHOOL OMGOMG" thing that happened.
A while back, a 2nd grader was questioned for hours after threatening to shoot a fellow student…
