Hopefully when Nintendo releases the first major 3DS update in late May, they'll add a messaging system for friends. They've stated that it won't be included at launch, but they are considering doing it. I'd rather just have a text+image messenger rather than a new, modified Pictochat...

lol. I've been making threads like this. well? just now i comment on my thread. it's about the 3DS gameboy color. you can be able to play gameboy color games off the 3DS.

@Iciownu I think you've misunderstood my post. What I mean is I want the 3DS to have a text and image messenger that allows you to message friends that you've added. Nintendo has discussed the possibility of it, but said that it will not be available at launch in any case.

I'm getting one. The 3D isn't what I'm phsyched for, but it's a nice touch. I want all the new features. And my DSi is nearing its death. If I blow into it wrong, it'll crash and won't restart till it's charged for an hour. And it's getting in poor quality. I can't wait till I get the 3DS ^.^
